Kairalee’s signature Onam celebration brought together approximately 500 attendees for a vibrant and festive gathering that reflected the richness of Kerala’s cultural traditions.
The event was graced by Guests of Honour Dinesh Vasu Dash, Mayor of Southeast District and Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth & Manpower, and Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of Parliament. Their presence added significance to the celebration and highlighted the importance of community and cultural harmony.
The programme featured key highlights including the Thiruvathira Ever-Rolling Trophy – Season 2, the Kairalee Beauty Contest – Season 2, and a Cooking Contest, all of which saw enthusiastic participation and added to the festive spirit. A Kabaddi competition was also planned but had to be cancelled due to inclement weather conditions.
An Appreciation Dinner was subsequently organised to acknowledge and thank all contributors and volunteers whose efforts made the event a grand success.
