Kairalee Members Family Trip to Malacca

Singapore Kairalee Kala Nilayam successfully organised its first international family trip to Malacca, Malaysia, bringing together 41 members and their families for a memorable one-day excursion filled with travel, exploration, and bonding.

The journey began from Woodlands, with participants travelling comfortably in a premium air-conditioned coach. Upon arrival in Malacca, the group explored the city’s rich historical and cultural landmarks, including the iconic Dutch Square, St. Paul’s Hill, and the historic A Famosa Fort. A visit to the Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum provided further insight into the region’s heritage.

The experience continued with a walk through the vibrant Jonker Street, where members enjoyed local delicacies, shopping, and the lively atmosphere. A visit to the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple offered a glimpse into Malaysia’s oldest Buddhist temple and its cultural significance. One of the highlights of the trip was the scenic Melaka River Cruise, which provided a unique perspective of the city’s heritage and riverside charm.

The trip was a great success, offering a perfect blend of heritage, leisure, and community bonding, and marked a significant milestone for Kairalee in expanding its activities beyond Singapore.
