A powerful drama exploring the intersection of faith, sports philosophy, and social justice. It follows Father Gabriel, a priest and former goalkeeper shaped by the belief that — like a goalkeeper — he must remain within defined boundaries, waiting rather than acting. His perspective shifts when he draws inspiration from legendary Colombian goalkeeper René Higuita, known for breaking conventions and playing beyond the goal line. When a young girl, Lucy, becomes a victim of exploitation by a powerful local figure, Gabriel’s attempts through institutional channels fail. Faced with moral conflict and systemic indifference, he is forced to choose between the safety of his role and the call to fight injustice. The drama delivers a compelling message on courage, responsibility, and standing up for those who wait for justice.
