Indian Community Appreciation Dinner Honouring Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong

Over 2,000 guests attended an Indian Community Appreciation Dinner at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre to honour Lee Hsien Loong for his two decades of service as Prime Minister. Organised by the Singapore Indian Development Association together with 14 Indian community organisations, the event brought together community leaders, Members of Parliament, and grassroots representatives.

The programme featured tribute presentations, including a commemorative video and symbolic gifts, celebrating Senior Minister Lee’s leadership and longstanding engagement with the Indian community.

Members of the Singapore Kairalee Kala Nilayam Executive Committee were present at the event, representing the organisation and engaging with the wider Indian community. The occasion provided a valuable platform for networking, strengthening community ties, and enhancing Kairalee’s visibility within Singapore’s multicultural landscape.

In his address, Senior Minister Lee expressed appreciation for the continued support of the Indian community and highlighted its contributions to Singapore’s economic growth, social cohesion, and multicultural identity. He also emphasised the importance of managing integration thoughtfully while maintaining harmony in a diverse society.

The event marked a significant community-led tribute, celebrating leadership, unity, and the enduring contributions of the Indian community in Singapore.
