Singapore Kairalee Kala Nilayam’s drama Anthithottam: The Final Act is an amalgamation of Malayalam, English, German and French languages, based on the true story of a protagonist who arrived in France from Mayyazhi (now Mahi) — then a prominent French Protectorate on the Malabar coast of Northern Kerala in the French Indian colony.

As an active undercover member of the French Resistance, he rebelled against the neo-imperial regime forced upon French citizens. He was arrested and incarcerated in Fort Romainville, the transit camp run by the Nazi regime in Paris for prisoners and enemies of Nazi Germany.

As the protagonist faces torture and a moribund existence in the concentration camp, he travels through his inner life and opens the door to his past memories — an unprecedented drama that showcases the exciting story of Madhavan against the backdrop of World War 2.

Directed by Mr. Sreekanth Menon and written by Mr. Anil Rohit, both members of Kairalee Kala Nilayam.
